CDO

CDO Climate Data Operators is a collection of command line tools to manipulate and analyse Climate and NWP model Data. Supported data formats are GRIB 1/2, netCDF 3/4, SERVICE, EXTRA and IEG. There are more than 600 operators available.

CDO is free to use and open source under the GNU General Public License, version 2.

Available

CDO is available with following versions:

• 2.5.0 - in the 3.14.5 python-geo module/container in Roihu

Usage

CDO is included in the module/container listed above, so it can be used when this module is loaded.

Installation

Users can install an optimised custom version of CDO relatively easily with Spack.
